Thornbridge Hall Charity Garden Party

On Sunday 7th July we'll be supporting some good causes at the Thornbridge Hall Annual Charity Garden Party.  What a stunning place to visit!

We'd love it if you came along to say hello.  We'll also be selling a selection of our double sided gift wrap, ribbons, notebooks and cushions.  Come and find us in the beautiful Carriage House which will be oh so handy should the weather prove to be truly British!

There will be all sorts of artisan food sellers, designers, makers and plenty of activities to keep even the fidgetiest of small family members occupied and by the end of the day exhausted!

Well following on from Royal Ascot in the news, didn't I just have the nicest possible start to the week!  I was sent champagne!  Not a bottle but the prettiest picture of one I've ever seen (a good job too as work tends to pile up if you get tipsy in your studio!).  Our lovely customer Jo of More Pretty Things sent over these sweet pictures of how she has expertly used our double sided wrapping paper to great effect!  Thanks so much Jo and chin-chin! x

Spirit of Summer...and hurrah the sun IS out!

Oooo so I'm rubbish at this blogging thing......really rubbish.  Here at the studio we've been up to a lot when it's just the two of you jobs just do mount up.  We've been selling and photo shooting (new pictures coming soon) and doing officy stuff for all sorts of up-coming things....and today looking longingly out of the window at the sunshinyness.

The Spirit of Summer Fair was brilliant fun, we met such great people and made some lovely new friends.  A big popcorn handshake goes to the best... Sophia & Matt.  They make such loveliness and have exciting things happening so I hope you find the time to buy lots of their stuff.  They truly are ace!

Umm...I'm sure I had lots of things to write about, but I'm writing this on a whim and everything has just flown out of my head.  Probably because the sun is still shining and the lilac outside the studio window smells delicious.  So here's a picture of them and some lovely boozy lilac recipes I'm going to try at the weekend!

My the days are long!

Now that the clocks have changed and the evenings are so much lighter I'm forgetting to stop work.  It seems the noisy man has too...there's a distinct electronic rumble emanating from the studio on the other side.

If you read this...where's my dinner?  Oh, no, wait...you made lunch.  I'll make it, gift wrappings will have to hold until tomorrow!
